CDSG is an Umbrella corporation under which there are 18 divisions. One of which is CDSG’s FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) division which is led by Myanmar’s market leading coffee – PremierTM Coffee. Their operations are extensively done through Van Sales.

Challenges

Manual Data Capturing

Cash Collection form, Load-In, Load-Out forms and activities done is a day are manually entered into the system hence causing a time delay.

No Offline Availability

Not being able to collect data due to bad Connectivity issues causing information delays and problems to the mobile workforce.

Lack of Automated Approval Process

Stock Requests submitted by field employees weren’t streamlined to directly go to the immediate manager or supervisor hence causing a loss of time and also creating confusion.

Field Force Management

Outlet Leads were assigned manually and there were no track lead stages and next actions hence affecting field efficiency. Complex route plans.

Warehouse Asset Tracking

The availability of warehouse stock that needs to be distributed to retailers was entered manually, hence risking real time information. There is also a risk of human errors.

Warehouse Asset Tracking

Asset audit facilitated using photographs and QR code/barcode. Real-time Geo-location and timestamp captured for each unique asset barcode/QR code. Each asset mapped to the corresponding retail outlet hence ensuring minimum scope for errors

Notifications Tool used to send Simple, push notifications based communication messages between managers and salespeople.

Special Integrations Done

Microsoft dynamics systems

Integrations were done with their Microsoft dynamics systems to get the load-in requirement from the warehouse at the start of the day and send back the load-out data at the end of the day to the warehouse along with order booked, returns and collection details.

Qualified Promotions & Discounts

Customer Duration, Product Quantity are used as parameters and, if some customer qualifies then promotions & discounts are repopulated automatically and this will be integrated with Microsoft dynamics.

Bluetooth Printer

Integration with Bluetooth printer for Executives to directly share the copies to customers, Finance Team and Sales Representatives using Rongta Printer. Sales Summary is issued to finance upon returning to office.
